Maternity leave is wonderful! It's amazing how much stuff you get done and how on track your life feels when you don't have to work. I've paid all my bills (on time), my house is straight, I'm involved with Kalynn's school, I'm getting reacquainted with old friends through my space and blogging. I get time to sit and think and hold Kaden. Life would be great if I never had to work again.
I am feeling better now than I have felt in a really long time, physically and emotionally. I think it's because all of my thoughts and feeling are on God and family. Something that is really hard to do when you are working full-time. I know most of you don't have the time to take six weeks off of work, but if you ever have a chance, I would suggest it. And if you do, for maternity leave or whatever, then take advantage of the time you have. I took for granted the time I had with Kalynn and kick my self for it now.
I've been amazed at some of the things I've been reading on other people's blogs. They are so encouraging, inspiring, and eye opening. It has been great to reevaluate the life I have and the people who are in it. I thank God for this time He has given me and I pray that I will remember it when I go back to work and life becomes stressful again.
A quick prayer request: for those of you that know my sister Amy, just pray that God will give her peace and comfort and that she will let Him reign in her life.

It's good to hear how things have been going with you. Congratulations on the new baby--I am expecting my second in July. What fun! I'm glad you're enjoying your maternity leave. I know what you mean about taking the fact that your kids are little and will actually stay in your arms for more than two seconds for granted! Can't wait to see some pictures :)
Welcome to the world of blogging!!! I must say that I agree with Robyn and Lauren and think you need to put some pics of you kiddos up. It was so good to see at homecoming! Rachel and I were talking just the other day about how much we all used to see each other. And now we're all grown up and having kids. Isn't that just crazy? Anyhow, I'm glad to get to keep up with you this way! Love you much!!!
